Per the B-24 Research Team:
"I’m wondering if Shanghai Lil’s Sister (a starboard nose side name) was the name of this a/c when with the 98th BG (I don’t think it flew any mission with the latter Group, contrary to the original Shanghai/Shanghi Lil 41-11767) and if this wasn’t either changed or complemented by name Satan’s Sister (a port nose side name) when transferred, possibly almost immediately, to the 376th 514th BS as #65; if so, tail number would be 42-40314, physically compatible. "
The website 376bg.org is NOT our site nor is it our endowment fund.
At the 2017 reunion, the board approved the donation of our archives to the Briscoe Center for American History, located on the University of Texas - Austin campus.
Also, the board approved a $5,000 donation to add to Ed Clendenin's $20,000 donation in the memory of his father. Together, these funds begin an endowment for the preservation of the 376 archives.
