Our fifteenth and what turned out to be our last mission with the 376th Bomb Group, it's 450th, and was in direct support of the Fifth Army in northern Italy near Bologna, and target was a concentration of German troops. Every plane in the group that was flyable, including training ships and transports made the seven hour and fifteen minute mission, encountering scant and inaccurate flak. Total number of planes was thirteen B-24s from our group.

At the 2017 reunion, the board approved the donation of our archives to the Briscoe Center for American History, located on the University of Texas - Austin campus.
Also, the board approved a $5,000 donation to add to Ed Clendenin's $20,000 donation in the memory of his father. Together, these funds begin an endowment for the preservation of the 376 archives.
