Ormsby, Clyde W 35233534 engineer dept 748 was a member of Francis Riggs crew assigned to the 513th Squadron
I am Clyde W Ormsby's daughter.
I have 2 pictures of the liberator bomber dubbed Purty Baby. My father was the engineer on that plane. From what I understand that these planes flew out of Carentan airbase during the Normandy invasion. Of course i can't be sure of this information about this airbase. My dad rarely talked about his experiences during WW11.

At the 2017 reunion, the board approved the donation of our archives to the Briscoe Center for American History, located on the University of Texas - Austin campus.
Also, the board approved a $5,000 donation to add to Ed Clendenin's $20,000 donation in the memory of his father. Together, these funds begin an endowment for the preservation of the 376 archives.
