Bari
What a day. I hope I don't have very many more like it. We went on a raid to Bari, Italy and it was very exciting. The weather was very bad to start with-next we couldn't see the target well enough to bomb. There was one pursuit a ME-109 that shot the daylights out of the formation. There were three casualties I know of and how many more I don't know. A lot of planes landed with feathered engines-and one cracked up landing due to a tire which was shot. ......

At the 2017 reunion, the board approved the donation of our archives to the Briscoe Center for American History, located on the University of Texas - Austin campus.
Also, the board approved a $5,000 donation to add to Ed Clendenin's $20,000 donation in the memory of his father. Together, these funds begin an endowment for the preservation of the 376 archives.
