Reggio Calabria
Went on the missionn to Reggio Calabria today-everything went well as far as flack and bomb dropping. After we left the target we were intercepted by FW 190 and ME 109-and did they work us over. The FW 190 is the fastest thing I've seen yet over enemy territory. Our section shot down a FW 190, a ME 109-also one probable-the group claims six planes shot down yesterday-with no loss of our own. Pappy Reynolds was shot up today-he's having a hard time-this is his second accident in two months. Cochran landed the plane and did a swell job. There was no mail today-went to the movie tonight "This Man is News" and English picture. ......

At the 2017 reunion, the board approved the donation of our archives to the Briscoe Center for American History, located on the University of Texas - Austin campus.
Also, the board approved a $5,000 donation to add to Ed Clendenin's $20,000 donation in the memory of his father. Together, these funds begin an endowment for the preservation of the 376 archives.
