James Collison mission July 5, 1943

JULY

Monday 5

Messina

Today our mission went out and what a time we had. I have never seen so much flak in one place in my life-looked like we were approaching a thunderstorm and believe me we did. I am very thankful that we came out of it unscathed. I was very nervous and upset before and after the mission. Tried to write Penny a letter-but it wasn't very good. There was no mail today but expect some in a couple of days. Went for a swim ...... I pray that the mission which is to go out tomorrow is a success. .....

376 ARCHIVES

The website 376bg.org is NOT our site nor is it our endowment fund.

At the 2017 reunion, the board approved the donation of our archives to the Briscoe Center for American History, located on the University of Texas - Austin campus.

Also, the board approved a $5,000 donation to add to Ed Clendenin's $20,000 donation in the memory of his father. Together, these funds begin an endowment for the preservation of the 376 archives.
