Howard Conlee, Mission Aug 13, 1943

Mission #31 Time 12:45 The first was to Weiner Neustadt in Austria. The ack-ack wasn't heavy and we didn't encounter any fighter planes. Because of the tremendous distance of the raid we had to land at Tunis and I went in to look the place over. It was too late to see much. I returned and rolled up on the flight deck of the plane. We returned to Benghazi the following day. #84 cracked up in landing and the crew got out with minor burns. Considering that the mission was on Friday the 13th it didn't turn out too badly.

376 ARCHIVES

The website 376bg.org is NOT our site nor is it our endowment fund.

At the 2017 reunion, the board approved the donation of our archives to the Briscoe Center for American History, located on the University of Texas - Austin campus.

Also, the board approved a $5,000 donation to add to Ed Clendenin's $20,000 donation in the memory of his father. Together, these funds begin an endowment for the preservation of the 376 archives.
