This is more of a question. I am trying to find information about my wife's grandfather Kenneth Lord Stumpf. He was a gunner on aircraft #45 (B-24D) and was shot down on October 5, 1943 and was a POW.
As a former MSgt in the USAF on fighters, I am interested in his story if any one has any information about him. We have a picture of his aircraft, but there is not a picture of the crew by the aircraft or any other pictures of him. Since my wife's dad has passed, we do not have any one to ask. His former wife (my wife's grandmother) passed as well a short time back. My wife's aunt has some pictures, but she has not shared any of those with us. Sorry for the long dissertation, just want to help out my wife and fill in the lost pieces of her family history. Thank you in advance.

The website 376bg.org is NOT our site nor is it our endowment fund.
At the 2017 reunion, the board approved the donation of our archives to the Briscoe Center for American History, located on the University of Texas - Austin campus.
Also, the board approved a $5,000 donation to add to Ed Clendenin's $20,000 donation in the memory of his father. Together, these funds begin an endowment for the preservation of the 376 archives.
