Donald Macrae mission September 14, 1943
September 14, 1943 Mission today to the Marshalling yards at Piscare in Italy on the east coast. Take off at 9:00am. Returned 7:45pm. Flew with Campbell. Led an element. Nothing eventful. A bit cloudy, cumulus clouds, low - good weather. Saw the Port of Brindisi, now in Allied hands. Had to feather an engine on landing, ran out of fuel. Had supper. Diary and letter and to bed 10:00pm.

At the 2017 reunion, the board approved the donation of our archives to the Briscoe Center for American History, located on the University of Texas - Austin campus.
Also, the board approved a $5,000 donation to add to Ed Clendenin's $20,000 donation in the memory of his father. Together, these funds begin an endowment for the preservation of the 376 archives.
