Mission #18 – target – Vecsea Airdrome on the outskirts of Budapest in Hungary. Takeoff 0640 Landing 1215 (0535) Total combat hours (8915) load 5000 lbs (20-250) Remarks:
1) Enroute to target an alternate objective was suggested – the marshalling yards at Brod in Yugoslavia
2) Light flak, no fighters
3) Target destroyed
4) No casualties
5) Statistics – total bomb tonnage 59000 lbs (29 ½ tons)
6) Christenson’s crew landed at Anzio beachhead everyone OK.

At the 2017 reunion, the board approved the donation of our archives to the Briscoe Center for American History, located on the University of Texas - Austin campus.
Also, the board approved a $5,000 donation to add to Ed Clendenin's $20,000 donation in the memory of his father. Together, these funds begin an endowment for the preservation of the 376 archives.
