Dec. 12
Morale hit a new low!! A few of the boys got captaincys and all were happy till we heard that Ted Bennett, one of our ex Nav/Bomb, also got promoted - even i___ine for ?
The thing that rankles so badly is that he quit combat - under most peculiar circumstances - guess we couldn't call him yellow, but why he quit we can't determine, doesn't seem fair that the lads who do the tough, dirty work and stay in there, taking risks ever day should suck the dry one - here Bennett has been on per diem all the time and then gets upped a grade - can't follow a lot this Army does.
The website 376bg.org is NOT our site nor is it our endowment fund.
At the 2017 reunion, the board approved the donation of our archives to the Briscoe Center for American History, located on the University of Texas - Austin campus.
Also, the board approved a $5,000 donation to add to Ed Clendenin's $20,000 donation in the memory of his father. Together, these funds begin an endowment for the preservation of the 376 archives.
