P. F. F. went out on lead formation so we went to Gyor. Made a 360 degree on target-- only flak at 6'clock on both runs. Results unobserved. We got hammered by flak at Bratislavia-- also over Vienna and then at Gyor off to left. Heard dogs bark under ship twice. Flak very accurate-- Squirrel hunters, in flak about 35 minutes. Very good flying weather. Temp. about -20 degrees F.
Saw enemy aircraft--did not get jumped, escort was late.

Also, the board approved a $5,000 donation to add to Ed Clendenin's $20,000 donation in the memory of his father. Together, these funds begin an endowment for the preservation of the 376 archives.
