June 26, 1944 We went on mission to Schwechat, Austria Twin Engine Fighter Plant, very near Vienna. Hit target real well with incendiaries. Flak was very heavy and accurate. Some of our hydraulic lines and radio were shot out. No.2 gas tank was hit, as was engine no. 3 but it kept running. Flak went through top of waist section but nobody hit. Enemy fighters were around but we had good fighter escort for a change. Group lost 4 planes. App. 8 hours. (2)

At the 2017 reunion, the board approved the donation of our archives to the Briscoe Center for American History, located on the University of Texas - Austin campus.
Also, the board approved a $5,000 donation to add to Ed Clendenin's $20,000 donation in the memory of his father. Together, these funds begin an endowment for the preservation of the 376 archives.
