Brought 1000# bombs back because of heavy haze over target. Met 2 Me-109’s and light flak
My-Comment – I don’t remember if that was the mission, but on one mission to France we landed with 25 gal of fuel left. On approach to landing, we lost 2 engines on account of no fuel but with the system I was able to keep them running. Whew! 8 hr 10 min

At the 2017 reunion, the board approved the donation of our archives to the Briscoe Center for American History, located on the University of Texas - Austin campus.
Also, the board approved a $5,000 donation to add to Ed Clendenin's $20,000 donation in the memory of his father. Together, these funds begin an endowment for the preservation of the 376 archives.
