(Concord, MA)

I have a photograph of the crew taken at the time of training in Pueblo, Colorado. The original caption as it appeared in the newspaper is: "CRACK COMBAT CREW. Sgt. Otto J. Sands, second from left, bottom row, son of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron P. Sands, 517 Trendley Avenue, is a tail gunner in a crack combat crew now completing its training at the Pueblo, Colo., Army Air base. Other members of the crew are: Back row, left to right, Lieut. Earl Watson, Blackshear, Ga.; Lieut. Robert Woolson, Hope, Ark.; Lieut. Victor Chartener, Monessen, Pa.; Lieut. Graham Hull, Cleveland, Ohio. Front row, Sgt. David Remen, Olympia, Wash.; Sgt. Sands; Staff Sgt. Robert Weese, Knoxville, Tenn.; Sgt. Roy Mitchell, Columbus, Kan.; and Staff Sgt. James Conner of Columbus, Ohio. (Army Air Force Photo)."

376 ARCHIVES

The website 376bg.org is NOT our site nor is it our endowment fund.

At the 2017 reunion, the board approved the donation of our archives to the Briscoe Center for American History, located on the University of Texas - Austin campus.

Also, the board approved a $5,000 donation to add to Ed Clendenin's $20,000 donation in the memory of his father. Together, these funds begin an endowment for the preservation of the 376 archives.
